TOWN OF WAUSAU CLERK POSITION VACANT

The Town of Wausau Board will be appointing a municipal clerk to complete the term of Clerk. To fill the position, the Town Board is accepting resumes from interested Town residents. After a resume is received, an interview will be scheduled. The appointment will begin after the Town Board meets at its monthly Board meeting. The appointment will end on April 20, 2027. 

The clerk has the following responsibilities: 

  • Take meeting minutes.
  • Complete financial reports
  • Pay the monthly bills and do payroll.
  • Maintain the Town’s database
  • Work independently.
  • Attend scheduled Board meetings.
  • Oversee the elections
