PUBLIC NOTICE

Bids are being accepted to Rent 9.5 Acres of Land at the

Town of Wausau Municipal Center, 161484 County Road Z, Wausau, WI 54403.

The Town Board is inviting Town of Wausau residents to submit bids to rent 9.5 acres of land located behind the Town shop at 161484 County Road Z. The property is zoned agricultural. The lease can be up to five years in length. Bids are due by Monday, January 5, by 6:30 p.m. 

Requirements:

• Bids must include proposed rental amount, intended use of the land, contact information of the bidder.
• All bids should be submitted in writing to the Town of Wausau Board by 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026. Bids can be emailed to one of the Board members, mailed to 161484 County Road Z, Wausau WI 54403, or dropped off at the Municipal Center.

Evaluation:

Bids will be reviewed at a Town Board meeting. The bidder will be selected based on the financial offer, suitability of intended use, and credibility of the bidder. The landowner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
